Breaking the Rules: Black, Brown, & Navy

Who ever made up the rule that you shouldn’t wear black and brown, or black with navy? Does it only apply to pants and shoes? Does it only apply to suits? Who cares…

We’ve been happily wearing these colors together for quite a while. Black jeans and brown desert boots, black jeans and navy pea coat - we wear these colors together all the time.

But don’t just take our word for it. We were happy to see the message spreading when Ovadia & Sons posted this on their tumblr this week:

Don’t ask if you can wear black and brown. We encourage it.

So yeah. Navy denim jacket. Black pants. Brown loafers. And threw in the tan gloves to really give people a heart attack.

The moral of the story is this: take risks, break rules, as long as it looks good and you feel comfortable - WEAR IT! Haters to the left. Oww Oww! Dat felt like, really gud guys.
