I leave you with my prediction for the upcoming year (or possibly two, or three) and that’s cravats. During the winter Rabensteiner is rarely seen without some vibrant scarf hanging around his neck or stuffed in a jacket pocket. And during the warmer months he can often be seen wearing a cravat for a touch of color up top. Now, cravats might not seem like a likely candidate for a revival, but let’s face it, who would’ve ever really predicted shawls to be a trend five years ago. Rabensteiner is heavily detail oriented, his styling work is often compared to a director capturing the frame of a movie and I think that he’s definitely onto something with the cravat. From a big picture standpoint, as the tie has fallen by the wayside, the cravat could certainly step in as a way to break things up, well, up top.
